I only sat in the grass and had pizza with my daughter. It's very shady there but could use more benches.

I grew up in this neighborhood and love that the trails are still running through the park. I have plenty of scars from 35 years ago riding over there. I dont love that the drinking fountains dont work which is typical San Bndo parks theme and the water park was closed as usual. The new playground is decent enough on the west side but the east side one has metal slides which are no Bueno in the heat. Anyway. All good.

Great place for a quick getaway hike. I don't mind and understand the homeless situation but oh my god do you have to live in your own filth. I sometimes bring a bag and lightweight pickup trash but these people don't care and are nasty dirty. I went there on the 4th of July last year covert situation being what it was and it was an awesome spectacle you can watch fireworks going off all around the city 360Β° view.
